Number of Work Weeks: 38-40
 
Description: This is professional work performed under the direct supervision of the Center Manager along with indirect supervision of the Early Childhood Development and Health Services Director. The nature of the work is to cooperate in a supportive role while assisting teaching staff with classroom and outdoor activities; during the promotion of the health, safety, nutrition and the education of the children in the classroom. The Floater is not to assume the role as Bus Monitor or Support Clerk.
 
Requirements: Must have a High school diploma or equivalent. Required to enroll in an Early Childhood Education Certificate or CDA (and complete within two years of hire) or college degree program resulting in an Associate or Applied Science degree.
